Welcome.
As you know, much of education today is financed by student loans and other financial aid. The process can be daunting, filing FAFSA /CSS forms, understanding offer letters, deciding which loans/grants to accept, and will they be available all 4 years, understanding loan repayment options, meeting all those deadlines, and even understanding the true cost of for-profit colleges. We offer you resources and options on this site to help de-mystify the process. If you find the site beneficial, please tell someone, and share your own experiences to benefit the nation. Kahn Academy: Free World Class Education

So school's in session, and you are probably running really hard trying to keep up with your assignments, and its so important to stay several steps ahead.   If you feel you may need some help, like a tutor, consider logging into the Kahn Academy site where you will have access to many tutorials.   Kahn Academy was founded by Sal Kahn with both MIT and Harvard credentials as a way to provide tutoring to a family member in another locale.   The academy is now a non-profit organization backed by Bill Gates and Google.  Sal wants to provide a "world class education for anyone, anywhere for free."   Here's a piece by Sanja Gupta on 60 Minutes talking about the academy.  If the link breaks, search for "Kahn Academy: The future of education?"  (March 11,2012).

It is important in college to protect your GPA, so take advantage of this program to help you get an understanding of topics and subjects that may be somewhat elusive, and don't keep it secret, inform your friends, you never know who may need a "little help from friends."

I have no connection to the site, but it accepts donations, so if you benefit and you are able, consider donating.

Let me know what you think  about the site and if it helps you.
